TORONTO-Paradigm Advanced Technologies Inc., a worldwide licensing agent for a broadband wireless location patent, reported it completed the acquisition of PowerLOC Technologies Inc., a global positioning system company.
In addition to acquiring all of the outstanding shares of PowerLOC, Paradigm acquired all of the outstanding shares of Power Point Micro Systems Corp. Inc., a telecommunications systems integrator.
“With the acquisition of PowerLOC and Power Point we are now well under way in completing our long-term strategic goal of becoming a dominant player in the new Internet-enabled location commerce industry,” said David Kerzner, president and chief executive officer of Paradigm.
PowerLOC also confirmed the acquisition of the Man Machine Language technology from Hunter Pro, a GPS security engineering firm in South America.
