TI, AMD warn of more losses

DALLAS-Texas Instruments and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. posted quarterly losses, while warning of more losses in the next quarter.
TI posted a net loss of $117 million, or 7 cents a share, compared with a net income of $676 million, or 38 cents a share, in the third quarter last year.
AMD lost $186.9 million, or 54 cents a share, a reversal of a net income of $408.6 million, or $1.18 a share last year.
