ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.—Anite Telecoms Inc. is working to improve GPRS and GSM technology in the United States with enhanced versions of its SAT and SAT+ wireless test solutions.
The enhanced solutions, which support both the 850 MHz and 1900 MHz frequency bands, help mobile handset manufacturers comply with U.S. market standards, which U.S. GSM network operators are required to prove before products are marketed.
“By providing support for GSM and GPRS requirements from the very beginning, we are able to offer a well established product that enables U.S. manufacturers to lower their risks in achieving conformance,” said Robert Johnson, vice president of North American operations for Anite Telecoms.
