KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.—InterDigital Communications Corp. said it is collaborating with Virginia Tech.’s Center for Wireless Telecommunications to sponsor and help guide research on cognitive radio models for wireless systems.
The research will examine “existing models across a number of disciplines to drive radio architecture, products and standards,” said Alain Briancon, executive vice president and chief technology officer as well as a member of CWT’s advisory board.
