EDISON, N.J.—LSSi Corp. launched its Jolt self-service mobile directory that allows Web-enabled wireless device users to look up telephone listings.
Jolt users simply enter search information into their device through the keypad to receive the desired telephone listing, including name, phone number, street address, city, state and zip code, on the screen. In addition, Jolt’s auto-dial feature places the call and automatically stores the number for later use.
Jolt said the service will be available to consumers whose wireless service providers have signed up for it and the company also plans to offer it to enterprise organizations.
