TORONTO—Rogers AT&T Wireless signed an agreement with Canadian delivery company Purolator Courier Ltd. to use the carrier’s GSM/GPRS network to provide an end-to-end wireless data solution enabling access to shipping information for Purolator customers across Canada.
Purolator said it has deployed more than 6,000 Symbol Technologies rugged wireless handheld computers to synchronize and download real-time information.
Rogers AT&T Wireless recently announced its GSM/GPRS network covers more than 91 percent of the Canadian population and that it expects to cover its entire network reaching 93 percent of the population by this summer.
