LA JOLLA, Calif.-IBM Corp. unveiled its new ViaVoice Translator, which the company said is an affordable consumer machine translation software that allows users to translate various languages using handheld computers.
“ViaVoice Translator breaks down communication barriers and allows busy people on the move to get more functionality from the handheld devices that have become an integral part of their daily routines,” said Toby Maners, director of the retail voice segment of IBM’s Pervasive Computing Division.
