VIENNA, Va.-Systems integrator TRW will integrate software from Cramer Systems into MmO2’s Airwave public-safety wireless service in Britain. Cramer’s software will be part of the Network Management Center used by Airwave to perform order management and service activation applications.
Airwave will link communications between all 53 police forces in England, Scotland and Wales. Airwave, to be completed by 2005, includes handsets for secure radio, mobile telephone and data communications; access to local and national databases, a one-touch help button to call for backup; and person and vehicle location information.
