ATLANTA-AT&T Wireless Services Inc. will use a mobile infrastructure solution from XcelleNet to manage and control wireless devices used by AT&T Wireless sales and marketing employees.
XcelleNet’s mobile infrastructure will allow employees to wirelessly deploy and update business applications, synchronize data back to enterprise systems, enforce device configuration, backup and restore critical information and track hardware and software assets on the devices. AT&T Wireless employees will use the 250 iPaq Pocket PC.
XcelleNet separately announced it now also offers support for Palm Inc.’s Tungsten W enterprise wireless device.
