Verizon releases Wireless Office services and devices

NEW ORLEANS-Verizon Wireless released its Wireless Office suite of services and devices for enterprise customers at this week’s CTIA Wireless 2003 trade show.

Wireless Office includes voice tools, Internet and intranet access, personal information management, e-mail and other customized solutions on a choice of wireless PDA devices from Samsung, Kyocera and Research In Motion.

The devices offered include the Samsung i800 Windows-powered Pocket PC, the Kyocera 7135 Smartphone and RIM’s BlackBerry 6750.

“Our enterprise customers have some common needs for their mobile workers-but they appreciate choice when it comes to operating system, functionality and device form factor,” explained Cindy Patterson, Verizon Wireless’ vice president of enterprise data.
