GREENSBORO, N.C.-RF Micro Devices Inc. and Silicon Wave have entered a partnership to manufacture and distribute Bluetooth solutions.
Under the agreement, Silicon Wave will license RFMD to manufacture its single-chip UltimateBlue 3000 radio processor and CMOS Bluetooth radio modem solutions. In addition, RFMD will be responsible for the supply chain of Silicon Wave’s CMOS Bluetooth solutions and will be the exclusive distribution channel for the products. RFMD also now holds a minority interest in Silicon Wave after participating in recent investor financing.
