LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.-The Howland Company will be the first company to license Motorola’s advanced wireless measurement and performance technology, allowing Howland to customize and sell an automated test system for personal wireless devices.
According to Motorola, the technology is fully compliant with the total isotropic sensitivity and total radiated power test specifications defined by the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association. The technology also includes product development test suites to reduce product development time for personal wireless devices, and anechoic fixture technology that lowers measurement uncertainty in anechoic chambers for reportedly more precise wireless measurements.
