GLEN BURNIE, Md.-American Financial Holdings Inc. finalized its merger with Pelican Mobile Computers Inc., which provides rugged mobile hardware and software for law enforcement agencies and emergency workers.
The combined companies said they plan to adopt the name Tactical Solution Partners Inc., and plan to expand Pelican’s portfolio of offerings as well as acquire other players in the field. Pelican customers include the National Security Agency Police Department, Maryland State Police, the United States Air Force and Air and Army National Guard, and Verizon Communications Inc.
“This merger will allow us to leverage AFHI’s unique financial and strategic resources to capture growth and expansion opportunities in our marketplace,” said C.B. Brechin, Pelican’s president and co-founder.
