WASHINGTON, D.C. – Motorola Inc. has a long history in supplying equipment to the municipal service networks market, also known as muni Wi-Fi. The telecommunications equipment giant sees the latest advancements in Wi-Fi technology as a way to jump-start the space and partner with municipalities in providing broader wireless Internet capabilities.
Motorola’s Scott French, VP of sales for its Wireless Mobility Sales division, recently sat down with RCR Wireless News during a visit to Washington, D.C., to provide an update on its plans as well as to explain why the latest Wi-Fi advancements can help revive the segment.
