MELBOURNE, Fla.-AirNet Communications Corp. said it has received about $1 million in expansion orders from Tecore Wireless Systems to deploy its base station products to GuineTel of Portugal.
The product, known as the AdataCell 4000 XE, is an outdoor base station.
“This order will expand the existing capabilities of the GuineTel network by increasing capacity and coverage significantly,” said both companies. “In addition, GuineTel will now be able to offer GPRS to its subscribers enabling Web browsing, sending images and accessing e-mail.”
