Korean telecom giant SK Telecom Co. (SKM) said it will begin offering Apple Inc.’s iPhone 4 beginning March 16. The device will include the same specifications as when it was launched last summer including access to Apple’s App Store.
SK Telecom said the device would be offered with “flexible tariff plans tailored to their unique usage needs along with a high level of customer care.”
Pricing details are expected to be available “soon.”
SK Telecom announced last year plans to offer smart phones powered by Google Inc.’s Android operating system to battle rival KT Telecom, which has been the sole carrier to offer the iPhone in Korea.
