ORLANDO, Fla.—A real estate company launched a service last week that allows prospective buyers to access information about homes on the market via text messaging.
Main Street Realtors of Windermere, Fla., is adding short codes to its “for sale” signs. Consumers interested in the home can send a message to the code to get information such as price and square footage.
ClearSky Mobile Media powers the service, dubbed iCode. It is available through carriers including AT&T Wireless Services, Cingular Wireless, T-Mobile USA, Sprint PCS and Verizon Wireless.
