TOKYO-NEC Corp. received an order for its messaging intelligent routers multimedia message service system from Telefonica Moviles Espana.
NEC said the system can be added to the existing MMS and mail-server systems of wireless carriers. MIR is a new method to extract necessary data from MMS and transfer it to a charging system, enabling flexible charging menus.
