KAMLOOPS, British Columbia-Skype users will be able to make calls and send text messages over the Internet through a new product by software developer Global Exploration Inc.
Global said it will launch a desktop version of the Voice over Internet Protocol messaging software later this year that will include Internet calling.
Earlier this week, the company announced more than 25,000 mobile users were sending text messages with its products. Global hopes its new software will help it expand its market share in Canada and the United States.
