CHICAGO-U.S. Cellular said it believes it has already accounted for all batteries in question in Kyocera Wireless’ recent battery recall.
U.S. Cellular said its handsets with product date codes “V03336” and “V0347” were sold with potentially defective batteries from Dec. 2003 through March 2004. The company said that along with Kyocera it isolated the problems in April 2004, replacing the batteries in both the customer and retail inventory channels.
