AT&T Mobility (T) plans to launch HTC Corp.’s Inspire 4G on Feb. 13 for under $100.
The Android-powered device will be the first device marketed as 4G capable for the carrier following its recent deployment of HSPA+ throughout much of its network.
Sporting a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel camera and Google Inc.’s (GOOG) Android 2.2 with HTC’s Sense platform, the device will carry the largest screen of any AT&T device at launch.
The Inspire 4G will also support AT&T’s mobile hotspot, which allows the connection to be shared with up to five devices. AT&T plans to sell the device for $99.99 on a two-year contract.
