BISMARCK, N.D.-Verizon Wireless said it has activated 12 new digital cell sites in North Dakota this year, as well as completed the deployment of its CDMA2000 1x-based NationalAccess data network in western North Dakota. The carrier said it plans to add five more cell sites by the end of the year as part of an expected $21 million investment in its network throughout the state.
The new cell sites have been deployed near the communities of Barrie, Emerado, Cavalier, Fargo, Jamestown, Pingree, Rugby, Bismarck, Mott and Minot, N.D., along with Glyndon, Minn.
