BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Verizon Wireless said it now is offering Motorola Inc.’s V710 phone, which includes a 1.2-megapixel camera, video playback, record and messaging, and Bluetooth.
The phone is offered exclusively to Verizon Wireless customers, said the company. In July, Verizon said it would offer the phone, which is Motorola’s first camera phone for Verizon and has been delayed since before the holiday shopping season. It is also only the second megapixel device to become available in the United States, following the launch of the 1.3-megapixel Sprint PCS Vision Picture Phone PM-8920 in July. In addition, it is one of the first North American Bluetooth devices for CDMA networks.
