Wi-Fi hot spots are not longer the domain of business travelers, as more traffic at sites is coming from personal use, noted a recent report from In-Stat.
“Service providers are reporting an increase in the number of sessions originating from devices other than laptops,” said In-Stat analyst Daryl Schoolar. “Consumer electronic devices, such as cellphones and handheld gaming devices have also added Wi-Fi as a product feature.”
