SUNNYVALE, Calif.-Meru Networks introduced version 2.0 of its System Director software suite, which includes E(z)RF, a self-optimizing wireless local area network system with one-touch installation.
With the feature, users deploying a WLAN place Meru Access points in areas to be covered and then click a button on the E(z)RF user interface to instantly optimize the entire network for a variety of needs, including coverage or performance for voice or data. The network can be optimized on an ongoing basis as the user environment demands.
The upgraded System Director is available to new customers and as a free upgrade to existing Meru customers.
