RESTON, Va.-Nextel Communications Inc. launched Motorola Inc.’s i710 clamshell-style handset that includes a 65,000-color screen, Java-based downloadable applications, A-global positioning system technology and access to the carrier’s traditional calling and data services.
The handset weighs just more than five ounces and will retail for $100 with a two-year contract after a $25 mail-in rebate.
