SAN FRANCISCO-Vivato launched the VP2200, an 802.11g indoor Wi-Fi base station.
The solution features Vivato’s smart antenna technology based on its PacketSteering technology, which it said extends 802.11b and 802.11g signals up to 12 times farther than industrial-grade access points.
“We leveraged our smart antenna technology in the VP2200 802.11g indoor Wi-Fi base station to maximize performance and cost savings for large-scale indoor wireless networks,” explained Siavash Alamouti, chief technology officer at Vivato.
