SINGAPORE-Connexion by Boeing said Singapore mobile operator StarHub will add the company’s real-time, high-speed Internet service to StarHub’s wireless broadband services.
As part of a memorandum of understanding, the two companies will explore linking their respective networks, providing StarHub subscribers the capability to access the Internet while in flight. Airline passengers with a StarHub account can enter their user identifications and passwords to access the Connexion by Boeing service, and charges will be added to their existing StarHub bills.
“Working together with StarHub, we are providing business and leisure travelers with the seamless opportunity to have affordable, high-speed Internet access in planes through their local mobile services provider,” said David Friedman, Connexion by Boeing vice president of marketing and corporate sales.
