ATLANTA-Motorola Inc. introduced its new model A840, which combines CDMA and GSM technologies to allow for global roaming.
The handset combines 800/1900 MHz CDMA, CDMA 1x and 900/1800 MHz GSM/GPRS modes.
The clamshell phone includes an integrated MP3 player, removable Trans-Flash memory, 2.2-inch color display, speaker-independent speech recognition, gaming and an integrated camera.
The handset is expected to be available in North America during the second half of this year.
