DALLAS-Texas Instruments Inc. said it has unveiled a universal router known as wONE that delivers simultaneous 802.11g and 802.11a from a single chipset.
This also incorporates central processing units, baseband, radio frequency and MAC. The product simplifies the computing process, according to the company, and is affordable.
“This all-in-one router solution offers extreme flexibility and versatility to protect the end users’ existing investments of 802.11b or 802.11g devices while technology-proofing future network applications using 802.11a,” said the company.
