LONDON-Vodafone Group plc said it expanded its partner network agreement with Kuwait mobile operator Mobile Telecommunications Co. to include the Bahraini market.
MTC-Vodafone launched services in Bahrain Dec. 28 after winning a GSM license in April.
MTC-Vodafone Bahrain will start to introduce Vodafone’s international services in 2004, providing Vodafone’s and its partners’ customers access to Vodafone’s services while traveling in Bahrain, and Bahraini customers can access Vodafone’s roaming services across the operator’s global footprint.
Vodafone said it now has network partnerships in 11 countries.
