DALLAS—Titan Global Holdings Inc. announced it will expand its prepaid calling card business with the addition of an MVNO offering. The company targets the Spanish-speaking market with its products.
Titan’s new Picante Movil, a mobile virtual network operator prepaid offering, expands on its Picante prepaid calling card business marketed under the Oblio brand. The service allows customers to add as little as $5 to their account to keep their cell phone active.
“Because of the success of the Picante product line, we have powerful opportunities for expanding our wireless MVNO subscriber base,” said Bryan Chance, chief executive officer of Titan Global Holdings. “By leveraging the 35 million prepaid phone cards Oblio sells annually, as well as our existing distribution channels and the integration of our expanding e-commerce presence, we are confident we will continue to grow our MVNO subscriber base in a profitable manner.”
Picante Movil runs up against a number of MVNOs that are already targeting the Spanish-speaking market.
