ESPOO, Finland—Nokia Corp. this week announced the pending launch of three new handsets in its L’Amour Collection line of fashion phones aimed at the European market. The new handset models are 7390, 7373 and 7360; they are expected in European stores this fall.
The 7390 is a clamshell-style 3G handset that offers video calling, a three-megapixel camera and music player. The phone is wrapped in a two-tone casing in choices of pink or brown.
Nokia gushed that the Bronze Black model “provides a masculine feel, echoing cigar parlours and oak-paneled studies of a bygone era,” while the Powder Pink model is a “daring combination of ceramic white and powder pink … found on fashion catwalks and furniture fairs.”
The phone will sell for $576.
The 7373 is a swivel phone that offers a two-megapixel camera and a music and video player. It is available in Powder Pink, Bronze Black and Black Chrome. It will sell for $448.
Finally, the 7360 is bar-style handset and, according to Nokia: “A tactile, inlayed-leather effect gently wraps around the phone, meeting smooth ceramic-inspired surfaces and glistening metallic details.” The phone offers an FM radio and camera. The 7360 is available in chrome and black or pink and will sell for $256.
