WESTON, Mass.—Proxpro Inc., which provides mobile search and social networking products, said it launched a new mobile tool that allows Sprint Nextel Corp. and Cingular Wireless L.L.C. customers to access the profiles of 28 million business executives.
The company’s Research People tool allows users to search for an executive’s profile by entering the person’s name and employer. The profile includes employment history, bio and, in some cases, photographs. Proxpro is billing the product as a tool that allows professionals to learn about potential clients or employers during chance meetings or social events.
The company noted it builds the profiles from publicly available information and does not disclose private information.
The product is $5 per month.
Proxpro is the company behind the Locate Friends and Locate New Friends mobile social networking services.
