SINGAPORE-Singapore Airlines has chosen Connexion by Boeing to provide high-speed Internet-based communications on its flights.
According to their agreement, Connexion by Boeing’s service will be installed on 40 of the airline’s planes, with an undisclosed number of additional service installations planned for the future. Connexion by Boeing will also provide Singapore Airlines with real-time television. Installation of that service is expected to begin by the third quarter of 2004, with the launch of commercial services to follow.
