RESTON, Va.-Nextel Communications Inc. continued to roll out its Falcon line-up of advanced handsets with the introduction of the Motorola Inc. i730, which features a color screen, global positioning system technology, Java support and Nextel’s Direct Connect service.
Nextel said the phone is now available for $300 with a two-year service agreement.
RCR Wireless News first reported on Nextel’s Falcon line-up of handsets in October. The carrier plans to offer a range of advanced Motorola handsets over the coming months, including one that will work on both iDEN and GSM networks.
