SEVILLE, Spain-Lucent Technologies Inc. said it has signed a contract to supply a UMTS network for the Spanish Andalusian Regional Government in a major business and technology park.
The end-to-end equipment will include Flexent OneBTS base stations and core data networking platforms.
“Lucent also will provide training and support to assist the companies’ transition to 3G UMTS and to facilitate the development of advanced mobile services by companies using this network,” said Lucent.
