HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp, through its local reseller, will supply a GSM/EDGE W-CDMA network for MTC-Vodafone in Bahrain. In addition, MTC Vodafone recently conducted the first EDGE call in the Middle East, Nokia said.
Under the agreement, Future Communications Co. will deliver and implement a complete Nokia radio-access network, including base stations, base station controllers and other equipment, along with support and integration services.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
