BOSTON-Mobile multimedia platform provider Acotel is making its U.S. debut at the CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment show in Las Vegas this week.
The company announced the opening of its U.S. headquarters in Boston, as well as a sales office in New York, and the launch of a product suite targeted at enabling mobile operators and media companies to deliver interactive content-rich experiences to mobile users.
“Our unique integration of carrier-class mobile platforms with interactive, multimedia mobile applications empower these customers to attract new subscribers and audiences, engage them and retain them longer, and create new revenue streams from higher-value content and service,” explained Claudio Carnevale, chairman and chief executive officer of Acotel. “This approach has driven significant growth for Acotel throughout Europe, and now we are driving this strategy into U.S. mobile markets where demand for interactive, high-value mobile content is surging.”
