STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson has tweaked its organization by creating a new business unit known as Access, which focuses on radio products. It is divorced from the business unit known as Systems.
The vendor will also form a sales and marketing group.
“The group function for sales and marketing will be established to secure profitable growth and further develop the professional sales culture,” said Carl-Henric Svanberg, president and chief executive officer of the company. “The split of Systems reflects differences in customer needs and in the processes that are needed for different parts of the infrastructure business.”
