SAN ANTONIO-A Texas school student was given three days of detention after school officials said they found pictures of drugs, guns and gang-related activities on the student’s camera phone, according to a report by a local TV station.
School officials alerted police to the images on the phone, which they said featured pictures of gang-related symbols and students with guns and drugs, according to TV station KSAT 12. Officials at Por Vida Academy said the teenager was showing the pictures to other students.
Mobile phones are prohibited at Por Vida Academy.
