IRVINE, Calif.-NEC Corp. said it has granted Hop-On a worldwide license to make, have made, use, sell, lease or otherwise dispose of wireless devices under its GSM and GPRS patent portfolio.
Hop-On already has received approval from the Federal Communications Commission for CDMA handsets in the 800 MHz frequency band.
