MUNICH, Germany-Siemens said it will expand the mobile network for Turkish operator Aycell. The value of the contract is $26.2 million.
Under terms of the deal, Siemens will increase the capacity of the operator’s mobile switching centers, the switch commander, the GPRS system and the intelligent network system.
Aycell, a subsidiary of Turk Telekom, has more than 1.3 million customers, Siemens said.
