PARIS-After previous struggles, French vendor Alcatel told a story of hope in its second-quarter result with a net loss of $776.25 million as against a loss of $1.64 billion a year ago.
It is a story of recovery underlined by an operating profit of $24 million from a loss of $126 million a year ago.
“The operating result has returned to being positive, and this is an important point which will be noted,’ said company Chairman Serge Tchuruk.
