AUSTIN, Texas-Wireless Valley Communications Inc. released the latest version of its LANFielder personal digital assistant handheld wireless network measurement system.
LANFielder PDA Version 8.0 features expanded spectrum measurement and WLAN performance features and an enhanced interface that includes Wireless Valley’s LANPlanner optimization and network planning software. The company also announced it will reduce the prices on its handheld measurement products.
“We are pleased to be launching the new feature-enhanced LANFielder PDA Version 8.0 survey tool into the market at a significant cost savings,” said Roger Skidmore, Wireless Valley’s president. “Our goal is to empower every IT manager, network engineer, and field technician with the features and portability they need to rapidly design, measure and maintain their wireless network, whether it be one access point or 1,000.”
