SANTA CLARA, Calif.-In a drive to improve wireless broadband experience in homes and small offices, Intel Corp. and Cisco’s Linksys have pooled together their technology and marketing programs.
Linksys will combine its routers and access points with Intel’s Centrino mobile technology in wireless notebooks.
Intel said it is conducting engineering testing and verification of both companies’ technologies.
“The verification effort is under way, and verified Linksys products will be available starting this month at retail locations in the United States, Canada and other countries,” said both companies.
