SAN ANTONIO-SBC Communications Inc. introduced an enhanced wireless connectivity offering for the education and medical industries that uses Wi-Fi technology to combine both wireless phone and wireless data connectivity on a single 802.11-based network.
The telecommunications provider said the WLAN package includes Cisco Systems Inc.’s Aironet Wi-Fi equipment and Spectralink Corp.’s NetLink Wireless Telephone.
