Wynd launches service for deaf users

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.-Wynd Communications launched its WyndPower pack, a collection of wireless services for deaf or hard-of-hearing wireless users.

The solution, which enables TTY messaging, voice-to-text messaging and the ability to reach AAA Auto Club for emergency roadside service, will initially be available on the T-Mobile Sidekick, Motorola P935, AOL Communicator and Research In Motion devices operating on Motient, SkyTel, WebLink Wireless, T-Mobile, and Cingular Wireless Data wireless networks.

The WyndPower pack will be demonstrated in the Deafwireless Superstore booth at the Deafworldwide trade show in Washington D.C. on April 26.
