BEIJING-China Mobile Communications Corp. is unlikely to deploy China’s homegrown technology known as TD-SCDMA, according to Tang Ru’an, chief operating officer of Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co.
“As the world’s largest GSM operator, for China Mobile to choose W-CDMA is, I think, the logical choice for its technical evolution,” said Tang.
Datang is one of the main developers of TD-SCDMA technology.
