NEW ORLEANS-FieldCentrix Inc., Irvine, Calif., introduced at CTIA Wireless 2003 version 3.5 of its Enterprise software suite, in which it has ported its full FX Mobile application to the Microsoft Corp. Pocket PC platform.
This allows field service workers to access the same features and data on their Pocket PCs as on their laptop or desktop computers.
“Companies no longer have to sacrifice functionality for form factor,” said Mike Roppolo, senior vice president of sales and marketing.
